A 27-year-old woman, identified only as Serwaa, has reportedly been found dead at her boyfriend’s residence after visiting him in Sekwah, Berekum, in the Tain District of the Bono Region. According to Eric Amoako, ABN’s correspondent in the Bono Region, the incident occurred shortly after Serwaa arrived at her boyfriend’s house. 22-year-old girl dies in boyfriend’s room after failed abortion She was said to be sitting in a chair while her boyfriend went to the bathroom to take a bath. Upon his return, he allegedly found her lifeless in the chair. “Serwaa went to Sekwah to visit her boyfriend. Per our investigations, the lady was sitting in a chair when the man told her he was going to take his bath. After he returned, he found the lady dead, so he went to the police station to report,” the correspondent told Angel TV News on September 26, 2025. The boyfriend was subsequently held by the police as investigations commenced. The body was then transferred to Berekum East for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. The correspondent added that the family is awaiting Serwaa’s father to formally authorize the autopsy. “The family is waiting for the father to go to the police and confirm the death of Serwaa through the autopsy, whether it was caused by poison, foul play, or any other reason,” Amoako explained.
