NORMAN — Riley Hilliard, the No. 11 overall recruit in the class of 2027, per Softball America, announced her commitment to Oklahoma on Wednesday.
Hilliard is a 5-foot-9 catcher and third baseman from La Mirada High School in California. She plays travel ball for coach Mike Stith and the Orange County Batbusters.
Hilliard is the second prospect to commit to the Sooners’ 2027 class, following last week’s pledge from Wagoner star Goose Hutchens, Softball America’s No. 2 player in the 2027 cycle.
Patty Gasso’s OU program had the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class in 2025 and currently has a star-studded 2026 class of two five-stars and four four-star prospects.
