The official list of nominees for the 2025 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, powered by Smirnoff, has finally been released. Organizers of Africa’s most revered DJ Awards scheme, Merqury Republic, released the full list of nominations for its 13th edition on Friday, October 24, 2025. DJ Sly King leads the pack with 8 nominations including the ultimate, DJ of the year, and Best Mobile DJ. Meanwhile, reigning DJ of the Year DJ Lord OTB, follows Sly King closely with 7 nominations. This year’s nominations reflect abundant creative expression and DJ excellence across the entertainment industry. Many DJs have expressed gratitude and appreciation to the scheme for recognizing their works over the past decade. The 13th Guinness Ghana DJ Awards nominations were finalized by the Ghana DJ Awards Voting Board & Academy, comprising an esteemed group of entertainment professionals and influencers in music, media, digital marketing, journalism, public relations, and creative arts. The event, powered by Smirnoff, takes place on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the Palms Convention center, at 7pm, and will broadcast live on Joy Prime.
