BabyCenter released its annual baby name popularity and trends report this week, and the results show Noah and Olivia remain the most popular names. To compile the list of most popular names for 2025, BabyCenter used data from over 350,000 babies born in 2025 to parents using the BabyCenter app. Olivia and Noah continue to be the most popular, with Olivia holding the top spot for five consecutive years since 2021. BabyCenter’s top 10 list saw notable changes among girls’ names. Eliana climbed from No. 14 to No. 7, while Aurora entered the top 10 for the first time at No. 9. For boys, Luca made it to No. 10, bumping Leo out of the top 10. According to the report, the top 100 names had new additions. Seven new girl names on the list bring a “vintage, cottagecore, and modern flair” with names like Juniper, Oaklynn, Sienna and Eloise. The additions to the boy names reflect “strong classics with spiritual and ancient roots” like Malachi, Ali and Arthur. Top 10 most popular girl names 1. Olivia 2. Amelia 3. Sophia 4. Emma 5.
