CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) - Two people are in custody following reports of possible gunshots in Chippewa Falls. According to Chippewa Falls police, on Monday, Nov. 10, 2025, at around 11:13 p.m., the Chippewa Falls Police Department responded to several calls of possible gun shots in the Downtown Business Area. Chippewa Falls police say officers responded to the area and two people were seen walking. Officers initiated contact and one man immediately fled on foot. A K9 Unit attempted a track the man, but the man was not found. Officers later were informed of damage to a home in the area. Two arrests have been made in connection to this incident. Chippewa Falls police say they believe this was an isolated incident and there is no continued threat to the public. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt. Luckey at 715-726-7701.
