    2 elderly people found shot dead in front yard in Greenville

    GREENVILLE — Two elderly people have been found dead in their front yard after suffering gunshots.

    The two were discovered in the yard at 103 N. Wingate Road in the Conestee area, Greenville County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Lt. Ryan Flood said the morning of Sept. 17.

    Authorities said they were not yet able to say what exact relationship the two had with each other, Flood said.

    The two suffered at least one gunshot wound, Flood said, and a gun was found nearby.

    No additional information was immediately available.
