Construction is underway on 179 units in a build-to-rent community in Madison. Jim Chapman Construction Group is the general contractor for VLux Madison on Sanctuary Loop. The gated community includes one-, two- and three-bedroom homes with detached garages. Prices start at $1,249 a month. “As the BTR general contractor at VLux Madison, our priority is to get this community across the finish line,” said Jim Chapman, president of Jim Chapman Construction Group. “We are stepping in at a pivotal stage and are committed to getting construction on track and delivering much-needed homes for Huntsville’s growing population.” VLux Madison includes three designed floor plans, ranging from 724 to 1,432 square feet, each featuring a primary suite on the main level. The Hideaway plan features one bedroom with a walk-in closet, one full bathroom and a functional, open-concept layout. The Oasis plan includes two-bedroom suites, each with a walk-in closet and a full bathroom with a standing shower, while the Haven features a two-story design with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The homes include vinyl tile flooring, gooseneck faucets, stainless steel appliances, kitchen islands and in-unit washers and dryers. For added security, homes are equipped with smart locks and fenced backyards. The garages include bike racks. Amenities include a pickleball court and swimming pool, as well as a ping pong table, cornhole boards and a sundeck with lounge chairs. The community also features a spacious off-leash dog park and the clubhouse with a yoga room, business center and coffee bar for both productivity and wellness. The community is already 100% leased with a waiting list. VLux Madison is Jim Chapman Construction Group’s second build-to-rent project in the Huntsville area. It was the builder for the Nestledown Farms build-to-rent community near Redstone Arsenal. It has also been involved with build-to-rent projects in Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina and Indiana.
