15 Stars We're Excited to See at Motor City Comic Con

Motor City Comic Con is the ultimate destination for all things pop culture, and the Firefly reunion on the guest list proves it. The three-day convention takes place at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan, from November 14-16. Besides the celebrity guests taking part in photo ops, autographs, and panels, there are all kinds of activities and attractions including Artist Alley, cosplay contests, video game tournaments, family-friendly programming for the youngest of fans, and so much more. This year’s line-up at Motor City Comic Con sees guests from across film, television, animation, comics, and cosplay. There are panels with the casts of the canceled-too-soon Firefly, spooky season favorites Scream and Mike Flanagan, comic creators from across the genres, and lots of others. If you like it, you are sure to find it here. 15 Phil LaMarr Known for Futurama, Pulp Fiction, Samurai Jack Phil LaMarr has had an impressive career in live-action film and TV as well as voice acting for animation and video games. He has appeared in everything from Pulp Fiction and Mad TV to Futurama and Samurai Jack, going from drama to comedy and everything in between. LaMarr will appear on a panel with fellow Futurama voice actor John DiMaggio on Sunday at 1:00 PM in Cornerstone II. 14 Catherine Bell Known for Army Wives, Good Witch, Bruce Almighty Catherine Bell has played everything from tough women to witches. If you are watching a Hallmark movie this holiday season, chances are you might see her there as well in the Christmas on Cherry Lane series of films, Meet Me at Christmas, or Christmas in the Air. Her panel, taking place on Sunday at 10:30 AM in Cornerstone II, will be moderated by ScreenRant's own Joe Deckelmeier. 13 Mike Colter Known for Luke Cage, Evil, The Good Wife Luke Cage himself, Mike Colter, will be appearing at Motor City Comic Con. Besides playing the bulletproof superhero, Colter has taken on roles in dramas such as Evil and The Good Wife. In 2026, he will take on the role of a lawyer in CBS’ new series, Cupertino. Colter will appear on a panel on Saturday at 3:30 PM alongside Kingpin actor Vincent D’Onofrio in Legacy V-VIII. While the two actors might not have shared screentime (yet), they are sure to have insight on what it is like playing in the street level of the MCU and what the future could hold for Kingpin and Luke Cage. 12 John DiMaggio Known for Futurama, Adventure Time, Kim Possible John DiMaggio has a filmography that stretches across film, TV, video games, and live action. He is best known as the voice of the sarcastic and alcoholic robot Bender in Futurama, the loveable and stretchy Jake the Dog on Adventure Time and Fiona and Cake, and the mad scientist and nemesis of the titular hero Dr. Drakken from Kim Possible. DiMaggio will appear on a panel with fellow Futurama voice actor Phil LaMaar. 11 Zach Gilford Known for Friday Night Lights, Midnight Mass, The Fall of the House of Usher Full eyes, clear hearts, can’t lose when it comes to having Zach Gilford at your con! The actor has appeared not only in the beloved football drama, but also most recently as a member of Mike Flanagan’s Universe in Midnight Mass, The Midnight Club, and Fall of the House of Usher. He will appear alongside Mike Flanagan, Kate Siegel, and Hamish Linklater at Motor City Comic Con. 10 David Ramsey Known for Arrow, Dexter Arrowverse star David Ramsey who played John Diggle/Spartan across multiple series will appear at Motor City Comic Con alongside co-star Stephen Amell. The two actors will also be on a panel together on Saturday at 12:30 PM in Cornerstone III moderated by Joe Deckelmeier. 9 Stephen Amell Known for Arrow, Heels, Code 8 The Green Arrow will not fail this city when he arrives at Motor City Comic Con. Stephen Amell, who played Olvier Queen/the Green Arrow across CW’s Arrowverse will appear at the con on a panel with his teammate David Ramsey. Besides playing superheroes, Amell has also spent his time recently as a wrestler, playing a lawyer, and as a hockey playing friend to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. 8 Hamish Linklater Known for Midnight Mass, Gen V Hamish Linklater began his career in theater before crossing over to film and television. He is best known for his role in the Flanaverse as Father Paul Hill in Midnight Mass and Dean Cipher in The Boys spinoff Gen V. On Friday at 4:30 PM he will appear on a panel with Mike Flanagan and Kate Siegel and moderated by Joe Deckelmeier. 7 Robin Tunney Known for The Craft, Empire Records, The Mentalist With her roles in The Craft and Empire Records, Robin Tunney started her career by making a name for herself in the world of cult classics. More recently she has found success in television, playing the sharp witted and tough Teresa Lisbon for 7 seasons on the CBS show The Mentalist. Her panel all about her career will take place on Saturday at 11:00 AM in Cornerstone II. 6 Linda Blair Known for The Exorcist, The Exorcist II: The Heretic, Savage Streets
