John Cusack shared several pics from a Chicago protest, where he delivered a now-viral message to Trump during a chat with CNN. When asked what he sees happening in Chicago, he replied, “Everyone knows the score, right? The authoritarians divide and concur, and they create an other, then they pick on the person, harass them, jail them. That's all used as a distraction so they can steal as much as they can to maintain power. We all know history. That's what he's doing. We have masked goons roaming the streets, hiding their faces, abducting people.” “It's all upsetting. Seeing sort of a fascist authoritarian, seeing that sort of cosplay that the right wing has been fooling around with for so long, seeing it kind of devolve into the real thing is predictable, but deeply saddening,” he said, before adding to Trump: “Go to hell.” 5. Similarly, Bill Nye branded Trump as “petulant” during an impassioned speech at Washington D.C.’s rally. “It hasn’t been one instance of abuse of the power of executive order by this president. It hasn’t been just one twist in a court ruling. Instead, it has been years in the making, enabled by this president. A group of confederates has worked together to undo many of our traditions and understandings of fairness and of citizens’ rights,” he said in part. 6. Spike Lee shared a photo from a protest and wrote to his followers, “GET UP STAND UP.” 7. Glenn Close posted a picture of a handmade sign that read, “No oligarchs, no dictators, no despots, no autocrats, no KINGS,” before sharing a video from a rally and writing that she was “so proud” of those protesting. 8. Jamie Lee Curtis posted a photo from a protest and wrote, “In this world of abundance and BIG, BIGGER, BIGGEST, it doesn't matter if this was the MOST people ever turning out in protest, it just matters that we SHOWED UP, STOOD UP, said what we THINK and FEEL and now the HARD work. We have a YEAR to send a real MESSAGE at the BALLOT BOX which is our AMERICAN VOICE, and so, let's get &$@KING BUSY!” 9. Leighton Meester shared a photo of a bunch of signs, one of which read, “No hate here.” 10. Carrie Coon delivered an incredible, passionate speech, which you can watch here. 11.
