Michigan’s warm weather is holding on as the calendar flips to October, meaning continued good conditions for road construction.
More than 70 road projects and special events will begin between Sunday, Sept. 28, and Saturday, Oct. 4, resulting in various levels of closures on the state’s primary roads, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT).
Drivers should be aware of closures on I-75 in Monroe and Oakland counties, U.S. 131 in Kalamazoo County, M-54 in Genesee County, I-94 in Washtenaw and Wayne counties, and U.S. 31 in Muskegon County.
