Dani Busboom Kelly recently talked about the rise of college volleyball in terms of popularity. The head coach of the Nebraska Volleyball team made this claim during a press conference ahead of the Nebraska Volleyball team's upcoming game against the Illinois Fighting Illini volleyball team.The head coach expressed her satisfaction with the growth in women's sports, including college volleyball. Kelly also hoped that people would continue to support these initiatives.Dani Busboom Kelly elaborated on this point when she recalled the occasion when the coaching staff almost had to beg for support. She said,"That's huge you know. That wasn't too long we were begging for this as a coaching group and trying to set up meetings with ESPN and all these big networks of what do we have to do get on more and now there's almost like arguments over who has rights to this game and who doesn't. So that again, huge for our sport and the fact that it can be on multiple networks all over the country. It's just gonna continue to grow and the viewership continues to go up every single year and every single big match." I don't care who you are, it's hard to win, there's so many great teams now and great players all over the country."
