Quick police response prevents escalation Reacting promptly, teams from the Calangute and Anjuna police stations rushed to both spots. Officers quickly disconnected the LED boards to prevent further unrest and apprehended two individuals allegedly linked to the displays. The swift police response helped calm the situation and avoided any major public disturbance. Local sources said that crowds had started gathering around the shops after noticing the messages, but police intervention ensured the matter did not escalate. Probe underway into cause of incident Authorities have launched a detailed investigation to determine how the messages appeared.
