“Gotta be dumb to actually throw Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s home run” - Fans rally behind Blue Jays kid after clever decoy toss in Game 5

Toronto Blue Jays star Vladimir Guerrero Jr. made Los Angeles Dodgers ace Shohei Ohtani pay for leaving his hanging breaking ball to be punished in World Series Game 4. The Blue Jays' first baseman hit it into the stands of Dodger Stadium at left-center field.A boy in an orange tee caught the ball in the stands. To everyone's surprise, he tossed it back to the field, leaving many in shock. However, a closer footage has come across, showing the kid's smartness. The orange boy didn't throw the actual home run ball and instead threw the other baseball. After learning this, many fans changed their tune for the kid and started praising for his smartness."Yea you gotta be dumb to actually throw vladdys home run. Smart kid," one fan wrote. However, one fan believed it was not smart from the kid to do this decoy."It's only valuable if it's authentic. Given the throwback and switch I don't think he's getting it authenticated," the fan wrote."The kid was so confident that he was going to catch a home run ball that he had concocted a plan to bring extra baseballs with him and throw a decoy ball back and fool the attendees at the game," one fan commented."Hahaha. That’s a slick move. Planned out," another fan wrote."Smart kid he threw the baseball his parents bought him," one fan added."When you’re trying to do the right thing but end up creating a highlight instead," one fan noted.Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s home run played major role in Blue Jays winThe Blue Jays entered Game 4 after losing back-to-back games. However, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. wasn't going to go silent at the plate even with Shohei Ohtani on the mound. In the third inning, he hit the go-ahead home run. This gave the Blue Jays a 2-1 lead and they only added more runs to it.They stitched several hits in the seventh inning to put them ahead 6-1. The Dodgers added a run in the ninth, but the lead was too good. With the win, the Blue Jays leveled the World Series 2-2 and got back the home advantage. They are sure to go to Toronto now, but first, they need to win Game 5 so that they get one win closer to winning their first World Series since 1993.
