“Everyone’s muse!”- Fans react as Netflix Philippines links BTS’ Taehyung’s Vogue World look to ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ villain Jinu

Netflix’s Philippines account on X posted side-by-side images comparing BTS’ Taehyung to Jinu, the antagonist from the animated hit KPop: Demon Hunters. The post (framed as a visual nod) spread quickly on social feeds and drew heavy engagement from fans.Jinu is the leader of the film’s demon boy band, the Saja Boys. The character is voiced in Korean by Ahn Hyo-seop and is drawn in traditional-inspired stage wear: a tattered black hanbok, long jeonbok vest, wide baji trousers, and a gat (the traditional horse-hair hat). The Saja Boys’ track Your Idol features that black-hanbok styling. The Love Me Again singer's outfit at Vogue World: Hollywood sparked the comparison. He combined sharp, modern tailoring with touches drawn from hanbok. V wore a long coat pulled in with a woven belt and topped the look with a broad hat, echoing silhouettes from the Joseon period. After Netflix’s nod, fans widely referred to him as a "muse.""Kim Taehyung being everyone’s muse!," an X user commented. He became the first K-pop artist to appear at the show. Instead of a big global label, he walked in a custom Jaybaek Couture outfit, highlighting Korean design. The event was held at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. Bangtan Boy wore a long, structured grey coat. The cut echoed a traditional durumagi, a classic Korean outer layer. Under it, he paired a matching suit, a light grey shirt, a tie, loose trousers, and black dress shoes. A braided crimson belt holding norigae-style embellishments cinched the coat at the waist. It drew reference to royal accessories from the Joseon period. A wide felt hat in matching grey added to the silhouette. Later, for the evening, V showed up in a grey suit. He attached a watch to the fit that’s roughly 120 years old, tracing back to King Gojong’s time in Korea. On 29th, Kim Taehyung was seen at Incheon International Airport Terminal 2. He stayed low-key in a white cap, sunglasses, and mask. The artist sported a Nordic-style vintage hooded fleece jacket with red accents. He also carried a large black leather tote decorated with an Amuseables Storm Cloud charm, pom-pom keyrings, and a white-blue bandana.
