Toronto Blue Jays' World Series Game 6 against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday turned chaotic in the ninth inning with the home team trailing 3-1. Dodger closer Roki Sasaki struck Alejandro Kirk to send a runner on first base. Myles Straw was sent in as a pinch runner for the Blue Jays catcher. Addison Barger worked Sasaki for a 2-2 count before launching a fly ball towards center field. The ball lodged at the base of the wall as Dodgers outfielder Justin Dean stood there with his hands raised. Barger and Straw dashed to home plate in their attempt to drive in a run but the umpires called it a dead ball, allowing two bases to the Blue Jays. Hernandez released the ball to second base where Barger was tagged after straying too far off second, ending the game with a dramatic double play. The chaotic end saw the Dodgers claim a 3-1 win and set up a decisive Game 7 at Rogers Centre on Saturday.
