HYBE is encountering growing fan ire over allegations that it has traded on BTS’ legacy while shifting resources to other in-house groups and ventures. All seven members completed South Korea’s compulsory military service in June 2025. Fans contend that several post-enlistment activities received less support from the label compared to newer acts such as CORTIS.HYBE has broadened its business into gaming and launched regional trainee programmes to diversify revenue ahead of planned group activity. The dispute intensified after rookie group CORTIS referenced BTS onstage, a move many fans saw as leveraging the group’s name to boost a newcomer. This also comes amid backlash over no Bangtan member receiving solo nominations.viviplash @viviplashLINKMind you HYBE made a bunch of their idols join the us recording academy this year and still no bts member got a nomination, that’s actually embarrassingThe septet is set to resume full-group activities in 2026. So, many are assessing HYBE’s recent strategy against that timeline."It's not just "they don't want them to grow" they are actively sabotaging them and not reacting to them being slandered and hiding their sheet behind them and more. hybe is literally harmful to bts in so many ways but yall will forget all about this next week lmaooo," an X user commented.mo @thvarcaneLINKit's not just "they don't want them to grow" they are actively sabotaging them and not reacting to them being slandered and hiding their sheet behind them and more. hybe is literally harmful to bts in so many ways but yall will forget all about this next week lmaoooMany fans are asserting that HYBE is gradually redirecting ARMY’s engagement toward its newly debuted groups instead of concentrating on Bangtan Boys' comeback.Shru⁷♡ @Jevnjunggkook7LINKHybe milking armys and bt5 till their last drop to fund their new debuting groups and give them everything on a silver platter🧍♂️yall are just now seeing the pattern like all those niche promos, collabs didn't blare any alarms?𝕽𝖆𝖘𝖌𝖚𝖑𝖑𝖆 @IconOfAnEraTaeLINKThe sooner u all know what hybe is doing to BTS the better cuz as of now ur spaces are filled with hybe interns and PR teams acting like fanbases and fan accts and manipulating ur opinions distorting facts creating more fans for their newer groups while using u all’s loyalty.in min yoongi's world @sugatheartistLINKI think people aren't even aware that there are other Hybe artists who get great playlisting, their Tik Tok account is recommended to follow, their songs keep being recommended to you when you listen to BTS, and the way their social media are managed is a different game..Some fans believe HYBE isn’t promoting the group effectively. yoongiboongiyoongi💗 @taekooksbaby_LINKI wanted to say this for long time but have u seen the sheer amt of promotion the rest grps get, like ssera, illit, cortis are getting is just🙏🏻, and all BTS got were one-two videos on yt channel like running bro/tht find odd one out and one jimmy fallon interview thats it like-Just Jinnie⁷ ᵉᶜʰᵒ •ᴗ• (Temp Active) @JustJin04LINKDelayed album shipments, lack of promo, and so many issues during the solo era. No action from HYBEBTS set for comeback & global tour in 2026BTS is preparing a full return in 2026 with a new record and what industry sources describe as their most extensive world tour so far. The comeback follows the band's culmination of South Korea’s mandatory military duty. The release is expected at the end of March 2026. Reportedly, the project will be backed by roughly 65 tour dates worldwide. It will include more than 30 shows in North America. The forthcoming record will be the first since the 2022 anthology Proof and their last studio album Be in 2020. The South Korean boy band last performed as a full act at their Busan concert in October 2022. Soon after, BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed all the members would serve in the army. Service began with Jin in December 2022. Hobi and SUGA were listed in April and September, respectively, in 2023. RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook enlisted together in December. Jin and j-hope were released from duty in 2024, and the remaining members concluded service in June this year. Since then, each member has focused on solo careers. So, as of now, all eyes are on BTS ahead of their highly anticipated comeback next year!
