The wait is over, as our beloved spy thriller series The Family Man is set to return to the screens with another exciting season. The third season, created by Raj & DK, is set to premiere on Prime Video on November 21. Weeks before the release, the trailer for the upcoming season was launched with much fanfare in Mumbai on Friday, November 7, and the cast and crew were there. The filmmaker duo shared a series of memorable moments from the trailer launch event on Instagram on Saturday, November 8. The post opened with Raj & DK posing in front of a poster for The Family Man 3 and showing three fingers to the camera, indicating the third season. Next, the duo was seen with the series’ cast, including Manoj Bajpayee, Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani, Jaideep Ahlawat, Nimrat Kaur, Dalip Tahil, and others. In the 2-minute 50-second trailer, he finally reveals to his family that he is an “agent”. Confused, his son asks whether his father is a “travel agent,” while his daughter clarifies that he is an intelligence officer. Meanwhile, we see Srikant being informed that an arrest warrant has been issued against him, and he is officially declared a wanted criminal. As Srikant is on the run with his family, JK, played by Sharib Hashmi, comes to his rescue once again. A new criminal organisation is introduced in the show. As Srikant wonders who could be behind the plot to frame him, we are introduced to Nimrat Kaur’s character, the mastermind behind his downfall. In her hunt for someone who knows North East India well, Jaideep Ahlawat is introduced as the region’s menacing drug smuggler. Besides the lead cast, the series also features Priyamani, Ashlesha Thakur, Vedant Sinha, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Gul Panag, and others in pivotal roles.
