In a world that often feels overstimulated—with so much aggression, division, and fear even showing up in our feeds—I felt it was more important than ever to protect my peace,” she wrote. The Bold and the Beautiful star admitted she noticed how online negativity was draining her energy, which is something she didn’t need in her day-to-day life. At the time she stepped away from social media, Wood was also juggling emotionally heavy scenes on the CBS soap, while already pregnant. Her absence was explained by an off-screen trip she took with her children, Hayes (Bryan David Garlick) and Kelly (Sophia Parras McKinley).
