A war of words erupted between American far-right MAGA activist Laura Loomer and journalist Mehdi Hasan over US Vice President JD Vance’s comments about New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani. The row began after Hasan criticised Vance for mocking Mamdani on his emotional remarks about post-9/11 discrimination against Muslims in the United States. Loomer responded and targeted Hasan’s defence of Mamdani. “JD Vance’s wife isn’t a Muslim.
