‘Futuristic’: Viral Video Of Vande Bharat Sleeper First Class Cabin’s Prototype Leaves Internet In Awe

Vande Bharat Sleeper Train: Apart from pride, the internet was seemingly left feeling concerned– after a video of the prototype of the Vande Bharat Sleeper First Class cabin was shared on social media. For those not aware, a prototype was recently revealed for the new Vande Bharat Sleeper- which quickly left most Indians impressed and somewhat eager to try it. From first-class facilities to futuristic designs and from comfort to whatnot- the prototype looked like an absolute dream for travellers wanting to take a convenient and fast journey. However, as soon as videos of the prototype began to float online, it also left many concerned. As per a majority of reactions of netizens, the train looked ‘too clean’ for a country like India, where ‘lack of civic sense’ is a rather common issue. Many even commented how the prices for the train tickets should be high, so that it can be accessible to ‘selective passengers’, while the rest shared a possibility of the train getting ‘gudka stains’ all over it. There were also a good number of netizens who expressed their excitement for the upcoming train, while some hailed the authorities and the designers for their efforts. The Vande Bharat Sleeper is a high-speed electric multiple unit (EMU) train. Reportedly, the train might come with a ‘16-coach prototype, including:11 AC 3-Tier coaches 4 AC 2-Tier coaches 1 AC First Class coach’, as per the Times Of India. Apart from facilities like ‘sensor-based lighting, digital information display panels, Wi-Fi connectivity, USB charging ports, and a public announcement system’, the train will reportedly also allow seating for ‘approximately 1,128 passengers, with 823 berths reserved for travellers’. Check out the viral post: “India’s First Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Unveiled! Indian Railways has introduced the Vande Bharat Sleeper, a new era of luxury on tracks. Look at how clean it is now, just think of the mess once it’s being used, especially in India with all the pan parak spitting,” a user said. “Please don't allow this train for gudka states,” added a second person. “Don't take this train to some trains,” added a third person. “Keep the train tickets prices higher,” added a fourth internet user in the comment section.
