According to Entertainment Weekly, Ruby makes everything about her and can light up any room with her energy. Following Vince’s (Billy Burke) death, Ruby comes to town looking to reconnect with Sharon and her grandson Bode (Max Thieriot). The reunion will be anything but a happy one. Sharon’s resentment toward her mother comes to light as they clash over family history and Ruby’s desire to never look bad. There’s no love lost between Sharon and her mother, that’s for sure. Fire Country fans already know a bit about Sharon’s childhood thanks to Sheriff Country’s Mickey (Morena Baccarin) and her dad, Wes (W. Earl Brown). When fans first met Mickey, it was revealed that Wes was married to Sharon’s mom, Ruby, when the girls were teens. There’s no word yet on whether Ruby will be crossing over to Sheriff Country or if Wes and Mickey will pop up on Fire Country when Ruby arrives in town. After news of her joining the show broke, Lahti used Instagram to gush over the experience and working with Farr. “Working with @getdianefarr has been a dream!
