We have no obligation to TLC as of today. I have been waiting all this time to share this with you all. I am super excited.” Deon then clarified that the network did not cancel Doubling Down With the Derricos, explaining, “We chose to no longer go forward with filming with TLC. That was totally done by us.” Additionally, he shared that his family has “several other networks” that they have been “in talks with” for a new show. “We are definitely coming back with the Derricos, but it will not be on TLC,” he continued. “…And don’t misunderstand me, TLC was great. We love TLC, we still love TLC, we still want to watch TLC. We just won’t be watching Doubling Down With the Derricos on TLC.” Finally, Deon reiterated that there was “no falling out” between TLC and his family, just differing visions for where they wanted to take the show.
