(CNN) - President Donald Trump says he will try to help cartoonist Scott Adams, who created the “Dilbert” comic strip, get a potentially lifesaving cancer treatment. Adams has metastatic prostate cancer and is trying to get a newly approved drug that he says will give him “a fighting chance.” However, he has run into a roadblock with his health care provider, Kaiser of Northern California. Adams, a longtime supporter of Trump, reached out to the president for help Sunday in a social media post. In his own post, Trump said he’s “on it.” Prostate cancer is one of the most common types of cancer among men in the United States.
