Popular social media influencer Orry, originally named Orhan Awatramani, has adopted an interesting money hack to acquire his luxury automobile assets, including the famed G-Wagon and Maybach GLS 600 cars. The famous personality has applied a fascinating trick, which helps him retain the vehicles without having to pay their market prices, close to Rs 4 crore. Rohit Iyer, an Instagram-based car expert, revealed Orry’s smart strategy in an insightful video. According to Iyer, Orry doesn’t own his luxury vehicles but has kept them on lease from a company. Iyer dug into the registration details of one of Orry’s cars after glancing at its licensed plate in an old clip. As it turned out, the registration was kept under the name of a leasing company called Mahesh Transport. Orry Pays Mahesh Transport To Keep His Cars “Orry is not spending Rs 3-4 crores on these vehicles. He is leasing them, which is one of the smartest tricks used by the rich,” Iyer said in the video, explaining how Mahesh Transport helps Orry travel on his G-Wagon and Maybach GLS 600 cars. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Rohit Iyer (@carswithrohit) The car that Iyer claimed to know the details of wasn’t registered under Orry’s name. Instead, it was owned by Sakharam Baburao Thite, who runs Mahesh Transport. If Orry bought the G-Wagon, he would’ve had to pay a sum in excess of Rs 4 crore and deal with the depreciation in the future. “Since he’s leased the vehicle, he is only paying about Rs 5-7 lakh per month,” Iyer mentioned. Orry Claims Monthly Retainer As Business Expense, Saves Taxes In his video, the car expert revealed Orry can claim the monthly retainership for his vehicles as a “business expense” and save taxes every year. The car expert called it a “smarter move” than buying the car directly. “This way, Orry gets to enjoy a Rs 4 crore car for small monthly payments and he gets to keep his capital free for business expenses,” Iyer said. Orry Reacts To The Video The video quickly went viral on social media. So much so that Orry, himself, couldn’t stop himself from sharing his take in the comments section. He said, “Wow, this is new info for me also.” Meanwhile, a person added, “Always knew Orry is very smart! Great video.” “This is very intriguing…Loved the concept of leasing,” read a comment. Meanwhile, a person said, “Lol, guys don’t get fooled by this false information in this video, it’s his car only!! I had checked his Fasttag details! This G-Wagon belongs to Orry!”
