Ariana Grande will join a host of AHS veterans in the series, which, according to a social media post from Ryan Murphy Productions on Friday, is set for Halloween 2026 on FX. Grande, who’ll next be seen in Wicked: For Good, joins Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Loude, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman and Jessica Lange in the cast. The announcement (watch it below) lists the cast over a recording of “I’ll Be Seeing You” by Vera Lynn before a quick cut of some barely discernible (but disturbing) images and moody instrumentals with “AHS 13” and the message, ”Surprise, bitch. I bet you thought you’d seen the last of me.” Related Stories FX Renews Gen Z Comedy 'Adults' For Second Season Take a (First) Look at NBC's 'Wicked' Primetime Musical Special View this post on Instagram Grande is the only AHS newcomer in the cast, though she’s worked with Murphy before: She had a role on Fox’s Scream Queens in 2015. When American Horror Story returns (and assuming it makes the October 2026 date announced Friday), it will have been three years since the most recent season debuted. The 12th installment of the show, featuring Kim Kardashian and subtitled Delicate, premiered in September 2023 and ran in two parts, concluding in April 2024. Murphy and Brad Falchuk created American Horror Story, which premiered in 2011. Halley Feiffer served as showrunner on season 12 and executive produced with Murphy and Falchuk. The show comes from 20th Television, where Ryan Murphy Productions is based.
