Actress Isabelle Tate, who recently appeared on 9-1-1: Nashville, has died at just 23 years old. Tate’s talent agency confirmed the news in a heartbreaking Facebook post shared on October 21. “We are deeply saddened and completely heartbroken to share that Isabelle Tate passed away on October 19th. She was 23,” the post reads. “I’ve known Izzy since she was a teenager, and she recently returned to acting. She booked the first series she auditioned for, 9-1-1 Nashville. She had a wonderful time. … My heart goes out to her wonderful mother @katerinataterealtor, her sister Daniella, family, and friends. I was so lucky to know her, and she will be greatly missed by so many.” Remembering Isabelle Tate According to her online obituary, Isabelle Adora Tate was born on August 8, 2002, in Nashville, Tennessee, and grew up in the Franklin community. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Middle Tennessee State University and was described as someone who “wanted to change the world.” Tate was an aspiring actress and musician, with her most recent role as Julie in the pilot episode of 9-1-1: Nashville, the newest entry in the 9-1-1 franchise starring Chris O’Donnell, Jessica Capshaw, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, LeAnn Rimes and others. Tate played one of the bachelorette partygoers involved in a terrible crash on Broadway. Isabelle was full of fire, a fighter, never once making excuses for the fact that she might have a disability relative to others. … What she loved the most though was spending time with family and friends, always the life of the party. Her sister was her best friend and her mom was her shining beacon of light.” She is survived by her mother, Katerina Kazakos Tate, stepfather Vishnu Jayamohan, father John Daniel Tate, and sister Daniella Tate. A visitation and funeral service will be held Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, at Forest Hills Methodist Church in Brentwood, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association (CMTA) in Isabelle’s honor at cmtausa.org/donate. One friend wrote, “I was so lucky to meet Izzy while we were both living in Hawaii. … She brought out the best and most loving side of everyone. She was the funniest, most empathetic, most caring, and loving person. She always had the most positive mindset and always gave the best advice. … Izzy, I love you so much and you are forever in my heart.” Another tribute read, “We are so sorry for your loss, Isabelle was a very special person and we were so blessed to have known her. God gained a special angel with her! You are all in our thoughts and prayers.” And another friend shared simply, “Thank you for welcoming me into your family like one of your own. I will cherish your sweet soul always. I love you, Isabelle.”
