£38m flop is set for surprise return to Chelsea first team training according to top insider

A quiet international break is the perfect time to get stuck into some bigger picture Chelsea talk, and that’s just what Sky Sports’ top dog Kaveh Solhekol has done today. He claimed that Chelsea aren’t looking to buy any big names in a quiet January, but there are some internal move that could happen. Chelsea outcast to continue sudden reintegration after youth team appearance One interesting claim he makes is that Axel Disasi, who has been in the “bomb squad” with Raheem Sterling since the summer, is “set to return to training with the Chelsea first team,” despite being “likely to leave in January.” That’s a little surprising. Disasi captained the Chelsea development squad on Saturday. We’re not sure what’s prompted this turnaround – perhaps there’s pressure from the PFA, or perhaps it’s a question of getting him match fit so that a January move is easier to make. Either way, Solhekol seems pretty convinced it’s happening. “Disasi had been frozen out and was training with Raheem Sterling until he captained the Under-21s on Saturday,” the transfer specialist wrote. “That is likely to lead to Disasi being reintegrated into the first-team squad. He moved to Chelsea for £38m in 2023.” There should be teams interested in Disasi in January, at the right price. Although we said that in the summer, and nobody took the bait… In other news… One player who Solhekol things could leave is Tyrique George, who came close to a departure in the summer and now could complete a move away to get more game time. Solhekol also mentioned that Chelsea are going to give Moises Caicedo a major pay rise, but it’s going to be done “in private,” presumably so other players don’t get jealous.
