Fermanagh entrepreneur Catherine Maguire, owner of The Vineyard Off-Licence and Castle Archdale Service Station, has launched a new business, Oaks and Archdale, a luxury hamper brand highlighting Irish artisan food, drink, and craft products. Drawing on her experience creating hampers for customers at The Vineyard, Catherine has developed Oaks and Archdale to cater to both personal and corporate gifting markets across Ireland. Each hamper is curated with a focus on quality and presentation, featuring local products such as fine wines, artisan foods, and hand-crafted gifts. “At The Vineyard, we’ve been creating and selling hampers for many years, and I’ve always loved the process of finding beautiful, high-quality products and bringing them together in a way that really delights people,” said Catherine. “That passion for quality and attention to detail inspired me to develop Oaks and Archdale as a stand-alone brand — one that reflects craftsmanship, local pride, and timeless presentation.” The name Oaks and Archdale pays tribute to the natural beauty of Lisnarick’s oak trees and Castle Archdale, places that hold special significance for Catherine and embody the brand’s connection to the Fermanagh landscape. While Oaks and Archdale is initially targeting the Irish market — north and south —, the business also aims to establish a foothold among the Irish diaspora worldwide, appealing to people who want to send or receive gifts that offer a true taste of home. “We wanted to create something that celebrates Irish producers and the art of thoughtful gifting,” Catherine added. “Oaks and Archdale is about creating a sense of occasion and quality that people will remember.”
