Yessel and Dani Peralta are on the hunt for another wife in the current season of TLC’s Seeking Sister Wife. The Bristol, Connecticut, couple have been together for nearly five years. They have two small children of their own, plus two kids from Yessel’s previous relationship. That, combined with their busy work schedules, has them considering adding a sister wife to help support the family. But Dani has some reservations about polygamy. A previous attempt at plural marriage blue up in their faces, and while Dani has agreed to try again, she has some pretty strict limits boundaries when it comes to living in a polygamous marriage, including not wanting her new sister wife to have a baby with her husband. Dani has a busy career as a nurse, while Yessel’s job frequently takes him away from home. “I do a lot of business internationally,” Yessel shared. “It takes me away, a month, two months, three months. And during those times, Dani is alone. She’s working, she’s taking care of the kids full-time. It’s a lot.” While Yessel shared that his job forced him to spend weeks away from his family, he didn’t get specific about what he does for a living. That’s left fans of the show to wonder about his career. On a Seeking Sister Wife fan page on Facebook, there were several theories about Yessel’s job, with multiple people speculating that he might work on an offshore oil rig. Viewers on Reddit thought he might work for a defense contractor, as a commercial truck driver, or as a traveling nurse. Some TLC viewers think Yessel’s behavior is suspicious While Yessel’s job remains a mystery, his behavior is definitely suspect, at least according to many Seeking Sister Wife fans. Some wondered if he might be using an interest in polygamy as cover for his cheating. “Whatever [his job] is, he definitely takes advantage of traveling to cheat on Dani. A sister wife is his excuse to cheat openly,” one Redditor argued. “I bet that guy has girlfriends everywhere he travels,” someone wrote on Facebook. “Maybe even wives and kids.” “Anyone else feel like this man is also cheating on her on these work trips? No way he’s going months without sex. Him specifically,” another wrote. Other fans were confused why a sister wife was a solution to Dani and Yessel’s issues. They thought what they really needed was a nanny or a housekeeper. “If he’s getting her a sister wife cause he’s out of town working how tf does that even work? Don’t they just need a nanny to help her around the house? I don’t get it,” one person wrote on Instagram.
