A futuristic action thriller starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis, Looper, is set to air on Legend Xtra tonight. Set in 2074, the film centres around contract killers from the present day, whose targets are sent back in time by future criminal syndicates. The critically acclaimed box office hit features Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Joe and Bruce Willis portraying an older version of the same character. In the film, Joe works for a Kansas City crime syndicate as a "looper", an assassin who eliminates enemies sent back in time. However, Joe's life takes an unexpected turn, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats, reports the Express . Fans have taken to Google Reviews to express their admiration for the film, with Mark Bond stating: "It never gets old does it. "Looper is an absolute gem in the sci-fi genre, brilliantly executed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt in a role that showcases his incredible range as an actor. "From the moment the film begins, you're thrown into a world where time travel exists, but with a twist that's both intriguing and emotionally gripping. "Gordon-Levitt's performance as Joe is nothing short of mesmerizing; he captures the complexity of a man confronting his own future self with such authenticity that you can't help but be drawn into his moral and existential dilemmas." Brandon Sean Pearson also praised the film, saying: "Looper is a wild time travel tale told by the ingenious writer/director Rian Johnson. "Johnson doesn't get enough love.
