Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday criticised the songs played by RJD leaders during their Bihar election campaign, calling Tejashwi Yadav the “crown prince of Jungle Raj.” PM Modi said the RJD leaders are eagerly waiting to return to power so that kidnapping, extortion, and their alleged old criminal activities can resume. “Look at the kind of songs their leaders are making viral. But when he is asked to reveal what that plan is, he becomes silent. I want to alert Bihar, and the entire country about the kind of plans the RJD people have.” PM Modi slammed RJD-Congress over “appeasement politics”, saying that their leaders insulted the faith of Hindus by “mocking Chhath Maiya and Lord Ram.” “Congress and RJD leaders insult our faiths like Chhath Maiya and Lord Ram is to please their hardcore vote bank so that their votes don’t get upset,” he said. “These Jungle Raj people have taken one more step toward appeasement politics, they are becoming a protection shield for infiltrators,” PM Modi added. The Bihar Assembly elections are taking place in two phases; the first was held on November 6, and the second is scheduled for November 11. The results will be announced on November 14.
