Anushka Chhabria shone brightest for India at the Pickleball World Cup 2025 in Florida after the teenager capped off a stunning campaign with five medals, including a bronze in the Under-14 Girls' Singles and a silver in the U14 Girls' Doubles. Anushka's latest feat added to her earlier successes, bronzes in the U14 Mixed Doubles (with Veer Shah), the Under-34 Women's Singles (3.5 DUPR), and the Junior Team event, helping India bag the Best Junior Team Delegation Award. Speaking to Hudd, Anushka said, "I feel really proud to have won these medals. I came here thinking that I wouldn't even win one medal, but it's a great vibe, something I didn't expect. It feels amazing to represent India." Her humility and joy were evident as she stood on the podium, a tricolour draped proudly around her shoulders. "It feels really good. I'm glad I got to meet my teammates," she said, her medals glinting under the Florida sun. The Chhabria family's Florida chapter didn't stop there. Her father, Vijay Chhabria, turned the event into a historic family affair by winning gold in the 35+ Men's Singles (3.5 DUPR) category, a proud moment for India and an unforgettable one for the family. "Winning a gold for India is always an incredible feeling," Vijay had told Pickleball Now. "But sharing that experience with my daughter makes it something we'll cherish forever. To see Anushka not just participate, but represent Team India in the juniors and win five medals makes me immensely proud — it feels like a dream realised for both of us," he added. For Anushka, the success is both a milestone and a motivation. "It's good to represent India," she said with a smile, echoing the pride of an entire nation.
