Britain's most tattooed man' confessed that children are often 'scared' of him and adults regularly mistake him for a 'Halloween clown' - but he swears he is 'normal'. The bloke known as King Of Ink Land King Body Art The Extreme Ink-Ite, 45, wishes people would understand that beneath the tattoos he's just like everyone else. However, during this time of year , the problem only intensifies. "I had someone today comment that she liked my Halloween makeup," the Birmingham-based entrepreneur shared with What's The Jam. "I told her to get an eye test, but then politely said thank you, followed by commenting on her nice hairstyle that looked like Boris Johnson's. "I don't want to start an argument or debate, though." King Of Ink Land, who holds the world record for having 36 artists tattoo him simultaneously, previously disclosed that children label him as "scary" while he does his weekly grocery shopping at Tesco. But, it's not just the kids who pass remarks. He explained: "Kids tend to just stare at me; they never run off. I think it's because they have a developing brain and are curious. "And are grasping the difference between scary and alternatively different. If I were so scary, they would run away. "I've actually had adults over the years terrified of my appearance. A few with phobias of clowns aren't able to look at me. "They apologise, though." King Of Ink Land hasn't gone under the tattoo gun for nearly four years, although he has plans to get more ink in the coming months. Whilst initially the public's reactions wounded him, he's since developed a thicker skin. He continued: "I'm my own person. "For me, I am for education. I'm a fully grown man in casual clothing or a suit, so why would I be wearing makeup or doing Halloween before the big day. "I fully accept I am part of a non-conforming community away from what society desires as normal. "I just hope, if I ever pass the UK law bar exam, the world won't look at me like this then. "I'm still a human underneath, despite the slurs and mumbles of people calling me 'Avatar' or 'Mutant.'". "I have a family, a personality, interests, skills, and so much more." Elsewhere in the tattoo world, one of the world's most tattooed women admitted that she's getting her £193,000 worth of ink removed after not being able to see her face for a decade.
