“We’re happy with the clean sheet, and making lots of chances. I’m worried by this kind of game – you have to win these games. First half we didn’t concede and created chances. Second half, we scored the goals,” the coach explained, sounding immensely satisfied. “Alejandro Garnacho was very good. Not only on the ball but also off the ball especially when he was pressing and this is what we need from our wingers. Garnacho is doing well Pedro Neto is doing well, Estevao is doing well. We need them all to be doing well. He had some special words for Malo Gusto, who got his first Chelsea goal in his 98th appearance: “Finally [Malo Gusto scored]! Last season Marc Cucurella scored different goals as an attacking full-back. Malo was close many times but finally he gave us the goal that we needed for 1-0.” You could see how happy Maresca was for his full back with his celebrations after the goal.
