On November 8, 2025 Days of Our Lives celebrated its 60th anniversary with a star-studded red-carpet event. E! News correspondent Will Marfuggi brought the network’s CreatorCam to the celebration, interviewing several cast members throughout the night, including Dan Feuerriegel, who plays E.J. DiMera. On-screen E.J. DiMera had a dramatic year as the center of the high-stakes “Who Shot E.J.” storyline. The mystery kept fans guessing for months, with suspects ranging from his son Johnny (Carson Boatman) to his sister Kristen (Stacey Haiduk). In the end, it was revealed that E.J.’s young niece, Rachel Black, was behind the shocking shooting. One user wrote on X (Formerly Twitter), “I knew that little Rachel shot EJ, I said that since the start, I feel proud of myself. She is Kristen’s daughter that is enough evidence. I am so so excited to watch the aftermath, the story had me hooked.
