New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who was on a campaign ahead of the Bihar election, once again raked up caste issues, saying that 90 per cent of communities in the country including backward, extremely backward, Dalit, and Adivasi, remain excluded from power and privilege, while the remaining 10 per cent hold control over nation's Army and judiciary. Rahul Gandhi addressed a poll rally in Bihar’s Aurangabad and said, "90 per cent of the people come from extremely backward, backward, Dalit, and Adivasi communities… while 10 per cent, referring to the upper caste, hold control over the Army.” In another statement, the Congress scion said that all the wealth goes to them, all the jobs go to them. “Look at the judiciary—they have control there, and even in the Army,” he added, saying 90 per cent of India’s population is nowhere to be found. Rahul Gandhi Has Crossed All Limits In Hating India, BJP Hits Back Hitting out at Rahul Gandhi over '10 percent control Army' remark, BJP spokesperson Suresh Nakhua shared a clip of Congress leader in which he's seen making the statement and suggested that in order to hate PM Modi, he has crossed all lines into hating India. "Rahul Gandhi is now searching for caste in the Armed Forces and says 10% of people control it. In his hate for PM Modi, he has already crossed the line into hating India," Suresh Nashua said. Elaborating his statement, Rahul Gandhi said, "If you look at the big corporate companies in the country—including Adani, Ambani, take 500 major companies and try to find the representation from extremely backward, backward, Dalit, and Adivasi communities, you won’t find anyone. All of them come from the 10 per cent population of this country... all the jobs, bank money go to them, they are in the bureaucracy, judiciary and even the Army is controlled by them." Building around his argument, Rahul Gandhi took aim at the Nitish Kumar-led government in Bihar, blaming the Chief Minister for wiping out employment from the state and turning the people of Bihar into the country’s labourers. PM Modi Wants Country's Youth To Remain Busy Making Reels, Alleges Rahul Gandhi In another attack at the ruling government, Rahul Gandhi alleged that the Prime Minister wants the youth of the country to remain busy in making reels for social media so that they stay distracted from pressing problems about education, health and employment. Addressing back-to-back rallies in Bihar's Aurangabad and Gayaji, Gandhi charged the PM with promoting “addiction” to social media. “Modi wants you to become addicted to making reels, Instagram, Facebook... This is the new high (‘nasha’) of the 21st century. He wants such a scenario because this would ensure that the youth remain distracted, and do not hold his government accountable for their problems about education, health and employment,” he alleged. “The Prime Minister comes here and expects you to be grateful to him for access to cheap data. What he hides from you is that big telecom companies make money as you consume the data,” Gandhi said.
