Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham chimed in on the NFL's Buffalo Bills building a new stadium, which is right across the current Highmark Stadium.The new stadium is expected to be ready in time for the 2026 season. During the league meetings in April, Bills COO Pete Guelli said the cost of the arena has risen to over $2.1 billion.On the latest episode of her "Show Me Something" podcast on Tuesday, Cunningham discussed the Bills' possibly playing their last game in the current arena. Cunningham and her co-host, West Wilson, said the current stadium has its advantages, including the gameday atmosphere."It gives the home team an advantage," Cunningham said (Timestamp: 27:02). "When you're used to it and people have to come in there, why would you not embrace that s**t?"Cunnigham played 30 games in her first season with the Fever. She started the year coming off the bench, but started the last 13 games she has played in.
