Nebraska Volleyball's Andi Jackson spoke about her team's approach to being unbeaten in the season so far after last year's defeat. The Huskers team suffered a major blow during the 2024 NCAA Championships, when their quest for the title ended with a shocking result.The Cornhuskers reached the NCAA Championships semifinal round after losing only two matches. They locked horns with Penn State while vying for a final spot. However, the Huskers fell short of dominating Katie Schumacher-Cawley's team and suffered a loss with a 2-3 scoreline. When asked to reflect on their last year's loss and overcoming the same with a dominant season, Jackson stated that the team is not falling prey to any outside pressure this year. "There's a lot of outside noise, especially when you start getting towards the end of the tournament," Jackson said. "You know, everyone's eyes are set on the end goal, but like I said in the beginning, taking it one day at a time and just really staying in the present, enjoying it for what it is.""Taking it one day at a time, and if there's any pressure, it's from the outside," she added. "We're not putting any pressure on ourselves because we know where our value comes from and we know what we have to offer. So, we're going to work towards that every single day and go out there and just play like we know how to play." In an interview with 1890 Nebraska, she highlighted how the activity brings the team together and motivates them before games. "One of my favorite things that we do as a team is we dance in the locker room in a circle before every single game, and that is just one of my most favorite parts of being here. I know it's so cliche, and it seems so minimal, but it just really brings everyone together. Unifies us before the game. Everyone has fun. It honestly warms us up."
