Music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs was recently transferred to a New Jersey-based prison facility, FCI Fort Dix, from the Brooklyn Detention Cente. The transfer came after Diddy's lawyers requested the court to let the rapper join the Residential Drug Abuse Program at the facility to serve his 50 months sentence.TMZ in its recent exclusive report claimed that Combs was allegedly caught drinking homemade hooch in the new facility by prison officials. Pop culture podcaster Perez Hilton discussed the report in his Friday blog. Commenting on the incident, Hilton made a witty remark and worte:"So much for being sober."Citing the report, the blogger noted that the alleged drink was made from Fanta, sugar, and apples. The prison inmates allegedly fermented the mixture for two weeks to prepare the hooch. Hilton mentioned that Diddy was caught with the drink at a time when prison officials were planning to move him from his current unit. However, he added that Combs would likely remain in the same facility.TMZ, in its report, stated they contacted prison officials, who said they weren’t aware of any such incident. As per the letter shared by CNN, Combs apologized for his actions. Diddy, who spent months in prison before sentencing, wrote a reflection on his incarceration period and stated that he had been working on himself to become the "best version" of himself."Every day since my incarceration, as difficult as my circumstances currently are, I have made the best of my time by reading books, writing, working out, or in therapy obtaining the tools and knowledge to deal with my past drug abuse and anger issues... For starters, I am now sober for the first time in 25 years. I have been trying my best to deal with my drug abuse and anger issues and take accountability as well as positive steps towards healing," Diddy wrote.Combs also opened up about the "domestic violence" he was accused of during his trial. Later during the sentencing hearing, Diddy again addressed the issue and said that he was "sick from the drugs" at the time."Domestic violence will always be a heavy burden that I will have to forever carry. My actions were disgusting, shameful, and sick. I was sick. Sick from the drugs. I was out of control. I needed help, but I didn't get the help," Sean Combs stated.The rapper asked for a second chance from the judge, noting that he had "changed."On October 3, Diddy was sentenced to 50 months in prison after he was found guilty on two prostitution-related charges.
