Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic nominee for the 2025 mayoral election in New York, has often been a target of serious allegations, especially by the Republicans. Anyd Ogles, the U.S. representative for Tennessee's 5th congressional district, is the latest one to do so.On Tuesday, Ogles posted a picture of Mamdani on his X. While the picture was that of smiling Mamdani, what Ogles wrote about the 34-year-old politician were baseless but grave accusations."This man came to America for one reason: to turn America into an Islamic theocracy," Ogles wrote. "I say NO to Sharia law—which is why I’ve presented an argument to have Mamdani sent back to Uganda based on information he clearly withheld. I’m fighting to take our country back. DOJ must investigate."Rep. Andy Ogles @RepOglesLINKThis man came to America for one reason: to turn America into an Islamic theocracy. On Monday, Rocker criticized New York on an X post. While he didn't mention Mamdani by name, all signs pointed to it."25 years ago I criticized New York for it’s rapid decline into a third world country," Rocker wrote. "I was forced to undergo Psychological Counseling, as if I were the crazy one. 25 years later, the city is voting in a muslim socialist for mayor.
