Team India took a 2-1 lead in the five-match series against Australia by winning the fourth T20I on Thursday (November 6) at the Carrara Oval in Queensland. They beat the hosts comfortably by 48 runs to register their second consecutive win in the series.Australia captain Mitchell Marsh won the toss and opted to chase in the contest. Men in Blue managed to score a respectable total of 167/8 in 20 overs, following a collective effort from their batting unit. Vice captain Shubman Gill top-scored with an anchoring knock of 46 (39). Nathan Ellis and Adam Zampa picked up three wickets apiece for the hosts with the ball.The Indian bowling attack then performed in unison to bundle out Australia for 119 in 18.2 overs to secure a victory for their side. Off-spinner Washington Sundar scalped three wickets during his 1.2 overs spell after conceding just three runs.The fourth T20I between the two top teams delivered entertainment to the fans.
