Former Golden State Warriors guard Gilbert Arenas made an appearance on live streamer Neon's Twitch channel on Monday. The former All-Star was shocked during the stream to learn that the average viewership had surpassed 30,000 people. A fan shared a clip of the stream on X (formerly Twitter), capturing the exact moment Arenas noticed how many people were tuned in to watch, leaving him utterly surprised. "How many people are in here right now? Does this say twenty-two thousand?" Arenas remarked. "He gets more views than the Charlotte Hornets, the Blazers, when Ja is out, he gets more than Ja, that's crazy. Like, you got more people watching than the Hornets get people," Arenas expressed (Timestamp: 6:48 onwards). "This is like four WNBA Arenas." Arenas, who has found huge success with his podcast post-retirement, has a Twitch channel of his own but was left shocked by the viewership numbers on Neon's livestream. During the stream, he pointed out the gap between their channels while cracking jokes about his own viewer count. "I did (do) a Twitch (stream). But yeah, I just got like three people," Gill joked.
