The Canucks are dealing with a growing injury list early in the season, which contributed to their 2-0 shutout loss to the New York Rangers on Tuesday. Garland suffered an undisclosed injury after a heavy hit from Blueshirts' Sam Carrick. He eventually headed to the locker room and did not return for the third period.
