Keegan Cook recently shared his thoughts about the Nebraska Volleyball team's performance, especially their veteran player Taylor Landfair. Keegan Cook is the current coach of the Minnesota Golden Gophers' women's volleyball team, which lost their previous game to the Nebraska Cornhuskers by 0-3.In the post-match interview, Keegan Cook remarked about his former pupil's performance. Cook commented that he was delighted with Landfair's performance on the court this season. The Minnesota coach elaborated on his point further as he explained,“If you haven’t seen Taylor hitting the sharp angle, which a lot of our young guys haven’t seen before, it could be tough. I wasn’t thrilled that we couldn’t make those adjustments, but it’s a tall task to ask if you’ve never seen it before.”For the uninitiated, Taylor Landfair had begun her collegiate career as an outside hitter for the Minnesota Golden Gophers. The veteran player was transferred to the Nebraska Volleyball team in the 2024 season and was a part of the team that qualified for the semifinals of the NCAA Championships. The Nebraska Volleyball team will now face the UCLA Bruins at the Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles, California, on November 14.When Taylor Landfair opened up about her transfer to the Nebraska Volleyball teamTaylor Landfair in action at the 2024 NCAA Championships [Image Source: Getty]Taylor Landfair previously talked about her transfer from the Minnesota Golden Gophers to the Nebraska Volleyball team. The outside hitter had joined the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the 2024-25 season. In an interview held last year with the Huskers Radio Network, Landfair remarked,“I think I was just looking for a different environment, just for my last two years, because I have been at Minnesota for the past four years. So I just kind of wanted a different experience for my last two, and I think just a new team environment, new coaching environment, just different kind of things so I can just see different variations, if that makes sense." [1:22 onwards] Landfair further mentioned how the Nebraska Volleyball team made her transition process easier as she added,“So, I think Nebraska is definitely exactly what I was looking for. They checked all my boxes, and they just made the process super easy. Like they gave me as much time as I needed, there was no rush, no like fine lines that made me have to make my decision super fast. So I really appreciate how patient they were with me."Taylor Landfair will be making her final appearance as a collegiate volleyball player this season. The outside hitter will be aiming to end her collegiate career on a golden high with an NCAA title to her credit.
