I'm gonna leave, says Drew McIntyre after getting suspended by WWE

Drew McIntyre proved Cody Rhodes right that he is the most self-sabotaging wrestler in WWE today. The Scottish Warrior's immediate reaction after getting suspended by Nick Aldis has now been revealed.Drew McIntyre did not have luck on his side, as he once again failed to knock Cody Rhodes off his perch at Saturday Night's Main Event. During the following episode of SmackDown, The American Nightmare said he was done with The Scotsman. But McIntyre still had unfinished business with Rhodes. He ambushed the Undisputed WWE Champion and the referee, Dan Engler, during the main event against Aleister Black, causing the match to end in a no-contest.Black and McIntyre launched a two-on-one attack on Rhodes, but Priest came to his aid. As the babyfaces fend off the heels, Nick Aldis appeared on the stage and suspended Drew McIntyre, effective immediately. After the show went off the air, WWE shared exclusive footage on X of McIntyre arguing with Aldis and some officials backstage. The Scotsman could be heard yelling, "Everyone is against me." Robert Roode and Nick Aldis told him to get out of the building, to which Drew McIntyre replied, "I'm gonna leave," repeatedly. The Scotsman eventually stormed off, mumbling in anger. You can check out the video below:Has WWE given up on Drew McIntyre?Drew McIntyre's booking continues to be a cause of concern among many fans. His Saturday Night's Main Event defeat marked his 18th straight title match loss in recent years, barring a 5-minute World Heavyweight Championship reign at WrestleMania XL.He continues to get robbed in title matches, which has many fans wondering whether the Triple H-led creative has given up on him. There was some speculation that he could be leaving the Stamford-based promotion, but Fightful Select shut down those rumors, noting that he still has over two and a half years left on his contract. His storyline suspension takes him out of the title picture for the foreseeable future, leaving his Survivor Series: WarGames status up in the air.Now that The Scottish Warrior is out, it remains to be seen who will step up to The American Nightmare next. Aleister Black and Damian Priest still have a score to settle, so neither man is likely to get a title shot anytime soon. Will it be his mentor, Randy Orton? The Viper is another Superstar whose booking has been deemed questionable. Will he return in time for the next Premium Live Event? Only time will tell.
