The Nebraska volleyball setter, Bergen Reilly, recently received appreciation from Wisconsin's coach, Kelly Sheffield, after the Huskers registered a win against his team. Nebraska and Wisconsin locked horns with each other on October 31 at the UW Field House in Madison, Wisconsin.During the match, the Huskers produced a dominant delivery, recording their 12th straight win of the season by registering a 25-22, 25-19, 25-13 win. One of the most significant contributions during this clash was that of Reilly, who attained a .349 hitting percentage with 38 assists, eight digs, four blocks, and three kills.Shortly after the match, during the press conference, Wisconsin's coach, Sheffield, sang praises of Reilly, calling her 'probably the best player.' Along with this, he also lauded Nebraska volleyball's offensive team, saying that they did a 'great job' in winning the rallies. (0:58 onwards)"I think Bergen is probably the best player in the conference. Her ability to continue to get them to get swings throughout the rallies. They did a great job of winning the long rallies. I thought we did a lot of good things tonight. I felt like their defense kind of had us uncharacteristically, kind of our pace was moving a little bit faster than probably what a confident team is going to do," said Sheffield.He added:"Their ability offensively is the most obvious thing ever just when you're looking at the numbers, but this is the best offensive Nebraska team, and so, even if you're able to score, their ability to side out pretty quick is pretty impressive."The Nebraska volleyball team is currently on a 21-0 winning streak.Bergen Reilly made her feelings known about the Nebraska volleyball clash against Wisconsin Ahead of the showdown between Nebraska volleyball and Wisconsin, Bergen Reilly sat for a media conference with Hail Varsity, where she weighed in on the clash between the two teams and what it meant for them. Exuding excitement about the match, she revealed that both teams are looking for some competition and highlighted it as a 'rivalry match.'"I mean it's always a fun week, I think. I mean just the way the season has been going for both of us. We're both really excited and we're hungry to play just some fun competition. And not that there hasn't been other competition, but that this is just a rivalry match," said Reilly.Further highlighting the match being held during Halloween, she added:"We all know that that comes with it, and it'll be a fun one, just Halloween Halloween and it's gonna be good, it's gonna be challenging for us and we're excited to get that challenge."The Nebraska volleyball team will next compete against Oregon on November 2 at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
